Four Element Dance Floor

Problem:

Design a detail of a structure.

Solution:

To design the floor with a dance club intent. Creating a Zen feel through the four elements of the earth: earth, wind, fire, and water. Having multiple levels creates a realistic space because the dancer is allowed to experience the elements at their natural heights. And the material of each floor is dictated by its element. The wind floor is glass, the water floor is a glass water floor, the earth is hardwood, and the fire is on a LED, interactive floor.
